Costa Navarino, Greece

The stunning Costa Navarino resort is situated in the Messinia region of Greece. It features a 5* Westin hotel with numerous first class restaurants, amazing facilities and four excellent golf courses. There are also some beautiful local villages which you can visit to experience some local cuisine and culture.

Each player will have a pre-trip lesson to establish an individual practise plan. This trip is perfectly tailored to the golfer looking to get their game ready for the upcoming season or the golfer with a nagging swing fault that they have always wanted to fix. A follow-up lesson after the trip is also included in the package. 

There will be extensive daily coaching clinics before every round and you will play with a professional for at least two rounds to enable you to benefit from some on-course coaching too. 

As ever, all of the coaching is optional so if you would like to come along on this trip just to play the excellent courses and enjoy the resort without participating in any of the coaching that is absolutely fine!

Michael O'Connor

Michael has had an illustrious playing career as an amateur and a professional including winning the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Assistant Professional’s Championship and the prestigious Sunningdale Foursomes with Luke Donald, at the time they were the youngest winners in the history of the event.

In 2003 Michael qualified as a PGA Professional. Always a keen student of the game he turned his attention to coaching and enjoys helping his pupils of all ages and abilities reach their full potential. To this end he has acquired many coaching qualifications including Trackman Professional Level 2 certification, NLP Practitioner for Sport, TimeLine and Hypnosis therapy and Explanar swing trainer coach. He is also currently studying the benefits of Pilates for golfers.

He runs a thriving junior academy at The Lambourne Club where he teaches over 100 children every week including pupils from 4 local schools.

Michael has a passion for travelling and has combined this with his desire to coach by forming his travel business. Over the last 15 years he has taken his pupils to many of the premier golf clubs and hotels in the world and given them some experiences that they will remember forever!

He has a broad knowledge of all things golf and completed the PGA’s certificate of golf management in record time and was also a member of the PGA’s rules committee having achieved the highest ever score in their entrance exam.

Finally he’s a good man to have on a trip as he speaks French, Spanish and Italian and even knows a few words in Arabic and Swedish!

Scott Marshall

Scott has been a PGA Professional since 1998 and is currently the head professional at The Lambourne Club, Buckinghamshire. 

He has won over 30 professional tournaments on the PGA south region and Berks., Bucks. and Oxfordshire circuits. One of his most notable successes came in the BB + O Fourball Championship in 2016 with Larry Marriott! 

He has had 11 holes in one and counting!!

Scott is a Callaway brand ambassador and staff player. Consequently he has huge experience in golf equipment, club repairs and custom fitting. He uses this knowledge to help ensure that his pupils are always using the correct equipment so that they have the best chance of success on the course. 

He employs an analytical but simple approach to coaching and is well respected by his pupils and peers alike as an easy coach to work with who ensures positive change. 

He has attended numerous courses by some of the best coaches in the game including David Leadbetter and Butch Harmon. This has enhanced his knowledge and understanding of the golf swing which he is able to pass onto his pupils. 

Scott is Trackman Level 2 certified and uses the Trackman to help his pupils with their swings and also to ensure that they are using the correct equipment for their technique. 

He has been a board member and captain of the Berks., Bucks. and Oxon PGA 

He has coached all over the world and enjoys helping his groups explore the local culture at all of our venues.
