Accommodation
Our hotel was the elegant, boutique style 1828 Smart Hotel which featured 14 amazing guest rooms. The hotel was small but well equipped with all of the amenities you would usually find in a bigger hotel.
Our trip to Argentina was a bespoke trip requested by a small group who wanted me to take them somewhere new, exciting and a little bit different! I suggested Argentina and the group instantly loved the idea!
We flew to Buenos Aires and stayed centrally to enable us to fully experience the beautiful city and its culture. Our hotel was the elegant, boutique style 1828 Smart Hotel which featured 14 amazing guest rooms. The group partook in many activities including open bus tours of the city, watching the Argentine Tango performed in one of the quintessential Argentinian plazas and a gaucho day tour to a local ranch. Obviously we also tried some of the local Malbecs!!
During our visit we played San Andres (St. Andrews!), Martindale GC, The Jockey Club and Buenos Aires GC, all are held in high regard and are part of Argentinian golfing heritage.
This trip required a huge amount of planning but the hard work was definitely worth it as the group enjoyed a once in a lifetime golfing and cultural experience!
