Salobre Hotel Resort in Gran Canaria was the perfect location for a golf break during the English Winter. Gran Canaria offered fabulous golf courses, stunning beaches, broad culture and amazing food, all with the backdrop of year round sun and warmth! This trip was known as my Winter Escape to the sun. We escaped from the cold winds, snow, rain and course closures back in England.

Gran Canaria was a new and exciting venue for Michael O’Connor Golf Travel.
Our base was the 5 star Salobre Resort Hotel which is one of the most luxurious hotels on the island. We played Salobre Old and New courses, Anfi Tauro and Meloneras where we enjoyed some of the best courses and practise facilities in the Canary Islands.

We stayed at the luxurious 5* Salobre Hotel Resort. It is an excellent hotel with superb facilities.
