Verdura Resort in Sicily is another new and exciting venue for MOCGT. It is located on the south coast of the island with glorious views of the Mediterranean. Verdura is the number one golf resort in Italy and was recently voted number two golf resort in Europe .

The resort features two 18 hole links courses – Verdura Links and Verdura Shores and the practice facilities include Europe’s only European Tour approved performance centre, so it is the perfect venue for a coaching trip. The group will play four rounds of golf – two on each of the courses which are both ranked in the top six in Italy.
Sicily is a beautiful island and September is a wonderful time to visit, the weather is still warm and pleasant with daytime averages of 25 degrees and little rainfall, the sea is warm so perfect for swimming and water sports.
We have two free days to explore the island. Sicily gives visitors the chance to experience a unique region of Italy with its own history, culture and cuisine. Sicily is the largest and most populated island in the Mediterranean and offers a fascinating mix of cultures and architectures. Throughout Sicily’s history the island has been colonised by the Arabs, the Greeks and then the Romans so is a perfect location for some historical tours. Palermo is the capital city and is approximately 50 miles from the Verdura resort.
