Cyprus was a new and exciting venue for MOCGT. The luxurious 5* Aphrodite Hills is located 20 miles from Paphos, and overlooks the glittering blue waves of the Mediterranean. The hotel has many excellent restaurants, numerous first class amenities and is host to the number one golf course in Cyprus.

We played five rounds of golf and had one free day to enjoy the hotel or explore the local area. The group played two rounds at PGA National Cyprus at Aphrodite Hills and one round at Eléa, Secret Valley and Minthis – the four best courses in Cyprus.
The Paphos region is rich in history and Cypriot culture. Activities and sights to see in the local area include the city of Paphos, Paphos Medieval Castle, Aphrodite’s rock – according to myth this is where the Greek god of love Aphrodite, rose from the sea!

Accommodation
The 5* Aphrodite Hills is located approximately 20 miles from Paphos airport and 15 miles from Paphos city centre, it is a convenient location for both.
It has an eclectic selection of restaurants to visit with options including Mediterranean, Mexican, Asian and an International buffet. The hotel also features outdoor and indoor swimming pools, 5* luxury spa and well equipped gym. There is a village square with more dining and wining options set in a lovely setting for a stroll if you have some spare time.
Collectively this is a place with everything we needed with an exceptionally high level of Cypriot hospitality – it didn’t disappoint!
